CatchCoins are CatchBack’s platform currency. You can earn them, spend them across the site, or convert them back to cash. Every CatchCoin you earn or buy is tracked in your wallet and visible in your transaction history.

What you can do with CatchCoins

Buy packs

Use CatchCoins to purchase any pack tier — Base, Starter, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Emerald, Diamond, or any specialty pack.

Buy on the marketplace

Pay for fixed-price listings, place bids in traditional auctions, or buy a Dutch-auction card at its current price.

Convert to cash

Convert your CatchCoins balance back to USD and withdraw to a connected payout account.

Get rewarded

Earn CatchCoins through referrals, marketplace sales, and platform activity — no spending required.

How to earn CatchCoins

Referrals

Every CatchBack account has a unique referral code. When a friend signs up with your code and makes purchases, you earn 1% commission as CatchCoins for the duration of their commission window. Your referee also gets a 10% promotional discount on their first purchase.

Marketplace sales

When another collector buys one of your listings, your seller payout lands in your CatchCoins balance (unless you’ve opted into a connected fiat payout).

Promotions

We occasionally credit CatchCoins for platform milestones, beta features, or campaign launches. These show up in your wallet history as adjustments.

How to convert CatchCoins to cash

You can convert any portion of your CatchCoins balance to USD from your portfolio.

1. Set up a payout account

   Cash conversions require a connected payout account. You can complete this from your account settings if you haven’t already.

2. Request a conversion

   Enter the amount in CatchCoins you want to convert. The current conversion rate is 1:1 (no fee) — ₡100 in CatchCoins becomes $100 USD.

3. Wait for processing

   Conversions are reviewed and processed manually for now, so they aren’t instant. You’ll see the transaction in your wallet history with status pending until the payout is sent, then completed.

CatchCoins are separate from Store Credit. Store Credit is USD you’ve pre-purchased on the platform, while CatchCoins are an earnable currency. Both can pay for packs and marketplace purchases, but only CatchCoins can be earned through referrals and rewards.

Important terms

• No inherent value: CatchCoins exist solely within the CatchBack platform. They are not a security, not legal tender, and not transferable outside our system except through the cash conversion flow above.
• All purchases of CatchCoins are final: Once CatchCoins are credited to your account, the purchase cannot be refunded or reversed.
• Subject to platform discretion: CatchBack reserves the right to modify CatchCoin functionality, conversion rates, and eligibility requirements at any time. We’ll always communicate changes that affect existing balances before they take effect.
